Discovery Church now has online giving available to those who desire to use it. Discovery strongly teaches that living “debt free” is a worthy goal for all Christians. We offer online giving only as a convenience and not as a way to circumvent sound biblical money management principles or in any way to incur debt. Users of online giving are responsible for setting up and controlling their online giving options themselves. They can designate where their giving goes (general fund, special offerings, etc) and the frequency in which they give. They will be able to constantly track their online giving by logging in and viewing their history. NOTE: online records will not reflect any manual giving. Online giving is secure and tax deductible. Online giving allows you to set-up your giving using either a debit card or an automatic bank draft to your account. Credit cards are highly discouraged.

You are free to give via the weekly offering in the worship service, by mailing your contribution in, or now by the internet and we welcome you to give whatever God has called you to, however God has called you to. God has given us many things – our talents, finances, opportunities, possessions – and in return, He asks that we bring only a portion back to Him. It is through this commitment that we enable more hearts to be reached, more lives to be changed, more souls to be stirred, more families to be brought together and more hope to be shared.

Benefits of online giving:

You can prioritize giving in your budget.
The Bible indicates giving is to be a "first" and not a last or leftover matter in my life. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. It is easy to let our standards and intentions be compromised by the press of expenses and billing cycles. With online giving, your giving is done automatically.

You can increase your faithfulness.
Have you ever forgotten your gift, left it at home or pledged to double it in the future? Have you had times where you have fallen behind because of travel and other schedule interruptions? Online giving provides a way to strengthen your faithfulness.

You can help your church.
Through online giving, you expedite your gift, simplify our accounting, and strengthen our base of regular support.

You can encourage faith and faithfulness
in the lives of fellow believers.
As you plan and prioritize your giving, you will lead the way for others to grow and mature in their spiritual stewardship. Being a forerunner in this new area of planned giving, you can provide personal testimony and example for others to follow.

Three-Month Challenge Registration

Terms:

1. I understand that this form must be completed and received by Discovery Church prior to the beginning of the Three-Month Tithe Challenge Period.

2. I understand that my household qualifies for participation because we have not been tithing for the last six months.

3. I understand that if paid at a physical Discovery Church Campus, my tithe must be paid by check, or by completed offering envelope, so that my tithe can be properly credited.

4. I understand that I cannot seek a refund prior to the end of the Three-Month Tithing Challenge Period, and that I cannot seek a refund for any contributions made prior to the beginning of the Three-Month Tithing Challenge Period.

5. I understand that any request for refund must be received by the Discovery Church within 30 days of the end of the Three-Month Tithing Challenge Period.

6. I understand that I must log in prior to paying my tithe online, so that my tithe can be properly credited.

7. I would like to test God's faithfulness by accepting the Three-Month Tithe Challenge. I agree that for the three-month period I state below, my household will contribute to God, through Discovery Church, a tithe equal to 10% of our income. At the end of the three-month period, if I am not convinced of God's faithfulness as a result of my obedience to His Word, then I will be entitled to request a refund of the full amount of contributions made during that 90-day period.

At Discovery, we don't have a "membership" - instead we have PARTnerships. We believe that anyone can join with Discovery Church in reaching this community, and we challenge people to make a formal commitment to Discovery Church by become PARTners in this work.

It’s about building His Kingdom, not just ‘our’ church.

Anyone is welcome at Discovery, whether they’re already a follower of Jesus or they have doubts and questions about Him. Anyone thinking about joining will need to attend the DC PARTnership class.

Discovery Church wants to be a place where you can ‘plug-in’. We believe people really want to connect with other people and talk about real life issues but they won’t do that unless they feel safe. Our desire is that everyone who’s a part of Discovery Church will also be a part of a small group... actually, we don’t think you’re part of Discovery Church UNLESS you’re connected to a small group!

Lots of stuff works off of AC or DC power and just like with electricity, you get energized when you plug in. Discovery has two different ways to plug in: ‘AC’ or ‘Area Connection’ which are groups that meet in different areas around town like neighborhood homes, businesses or restaurants. ‘DC’ or ‘Discovery Connections’ which are short classes (no longer than 8 weeks) that meet at Discovery Church (note: now since we haven’t launched publicly, don’t have a building yet or know where God will have us located, these classes aren’t formally operational yet).
